Okay so to be honest, this morning at Albies was a bit of a fiasco for me. It was definitely one of those, "If only I had known before ..." mornings. Here are some things that I learned that might help you as you plan your Albies shopping trip for this week:
1) To get the free meat you DO need to seperate out your transactions in batches of $25 of qualifying products. You will then get $10 in free meat per transaction.
2) You have to get the meat. Sometimes on these promos the computer will just automatically take off the amount in free product, even if you don't get the product but that didn't work today. You have to get the meat, any kind of meat will work. I just got a $8-$9 pack of chicken to ring up with each transaction and I ended up getting $10 off on each transaction which makes the meat a little better then free.
3) Albies new IP coupon policy is that they will only accept 2 IP coupons per transaction per item. So if you wanted to stock up on something that you have lots of IPs for you can't buy more then 2 of them in the same trans. So space them out between your transactions.
Remember, Unilever has a free turkey or ham (up to $20) promo going on right now where if you buy $40 in Unilever products (which are also included in this Albies promo) they will send you a rebate for up to $20 for your turkey or ham. So if you like, buy your turkey or ham in one of these $25 promotions, you will get $10 off from Albies and can then send off for the up to $20 rebate from Unilever so it's like getting it free more then once. And you don't have to have $40 in Unilever products on one receipt, they can be on multiple receipts.
