$.26 OOP, $2.74 PROFIT

I haven't done much at Wags lately because they just haven't had any freebies that I needed. Today I went in because they had St. Ives Body Wash on RR. Buy one @ $2.99, get back a $3 RR. That's what drew me in for my BEST WAGS TRIP EVER!

Here is what made it so great:

In the Wags ad this week there is an in-ad coupon making the Dry Idea Deodorants $.99
They ring up at $3.79 each
I have a huge stack of $2/1 IP coupons
I bought 7 of these (all they had)
Used 7 of my MFC coupons (use these first) which took off $2 each
Then used Wags in store coupon which took off $2.80 each (make sure you use these after the MFCs)
So I made $1 on each of these!
Also bought one St. Ives Bodywash in this trans and used one $1.50/1 coupon
With these items and coupons the store actually owed me $5+.
I had to get something to get me out of the negative so I got two 12 twelve packs of soda ($2.75 each) which I need for Eric's upcoming b-day party.

My total after this came to 26 CENTS!!! Plus I got back a $3 RR on the St. Ives so I actually made money on these items!
And I did 5 more transactions to get more free body wash, one more 12 pack of soda and some nail polish remover. In the end I spent $14.14 OOP and got back $18 in RRs.

Ice Cream Anyone?

I got 8 cartons of Breyers ice cream and 1 Suddenly Salad pasta mix for $7.61 PLUS I got back a $10 cat to spend like cash on my next purchase.

Albies has a GM promo going on right now where if you spend $25 in participating products you get back a $10 cat that you can spend like cash on your next transaction. Here are some good ways to get cheap ice cream.

$.80 ice cream:
Buy 8 cartons of Breyers ice cream at $3 each
One other participating item that costs $1 (I chose a Suddenly Salad pasta mix for $1.25)
Total $25.15
Used eight $1/1 Breyers coupons
Used one $.40/1 Suddenly Salad coupon
Used $10 cat that I got on an earlier purchase this week
Total OOP was $7.61
PLUS I got back a $10 cat that I can spend like cash on my next purchase

** You can do this same deal but use a set of 3 doublers that is coming out in tomorrows (Sunday) paper and that will take $3 off your OOP, making it only $4.61 ($.51 each item)

$.50 ice cream:
Target has a deal on Breyers from 6/14 - 6/20
Buy five for $2.50 each = $12.50 and get back a $5 Target gift card
Use five $1/1 coupons
Pay $7.50 OOP but after the $5 gift card you only spend $.50 each!

And remember ... you don't have to do 8 Breyers in your transaction, just make sure you get your total up to $25 before coupons. There are lots of items that you can use and many of them have internet printable coupons if you don't get the paper. Check out AThriftyMom's post for participating items.

For each $25 you spend you get back a $10 cat to be used on your next purchase. But unlike the recent Kraft promos where the amount is instantly taken off your total, this is a coupon that you use on your next purchase and you can't do multiple batches in the same transaction. Whether you spend $25 or $50 in your transaction you will only get back one $10 cat. So if you want to get $50 worth of qualifying items be sure to seperate them out into two transactions so you get multiple cats.

Rite Aid

I don't go to Rite Aid very often for a couple of reasons. ONE, there isn't one super close to me so it's not a place I will just pop in to real quick. And TWO, I am pretty well stocked up on most items that I would get there so I don't go unless there is something that I need. It's not like Wags where you have to "roll" your RRs. Anyway, I did go in this morning because they had a really good deal on kids toothpaste and I have never found that at a price to stock up on.

And remember, they usually have a $5 off of $25 coupon available. When I do go in I usually try to get my total up to $25 so I can use this coupon. It's usually not too hard with all the rebate items they have.

Here is what I did:

Four Colgate Children’s Toothpaste - $1.99 each
Used the $1 in ad coupon (the checker was really nice and just scanned this coupon 4 times)
Plus I used four $.75/1 coupons from the 6/7SS
Final cost .24 each!

One Sure For Men Anti-Perspirant - $3.29
Get a $1.50 Single Check Rebate
Plus, use the $1.50 coupon from the 5/3SS
Final cost $.29
*They also have TRYMEFREE stickers on many of these so you could end up making $3 on this if you haven't already sent in for this rebate from the manufacturer.

Eight Mars Candy Bars - buy one at .88 get one free
Used four of the Free candy bar coupons that you can sign up for on Fridays
Use these coupons on the candy you aren't getting for free which makes both FREE!
** There are also Buy one get one free coupons (up to .88) from the 5/17RP

One Childrens Benadryl Medicine - $4.99
Used the $2/1 in-ad coupon
Final cost $2.99

I also got one pack of Goodnites Sleep Pants because we always need these and this got my total up over the $25. These are always so expensive (urg!). $11.49.
Used a $2/1 coupon.

I also used my $3 rebate check that I got in the mail from last month. You can use these like cash at Rite Aid.

In the end I got all this for $9.24!
I basically just paid for the sleep pants. And I will also get some money back in rebates from Rite Aid as well.

Check out Hip2Save's post for more good deals this week.

I love you Grant!

Target 6/4

Have I mentioned that I love Target! My sweet husband sent me out tonight to get a few minutes alone since I had quite the day. In a nutshell, my 3 year old left his bike in the driveway and I ran over it, puncturing my van tire ... and the day just went downhill from there. So I had a Target list and took my time off to go there. Here is what I got:

5 Hershey Bliss bars - $.99 each
Used five $1/1 Target coupons which adjust to $.99 off making them FREE!

6 Crystal Light to go 3 packs - $.99 each
Used six $1/1 IP coupons making these BETTER THAN FREE!

4 Mens Degree Deodorants (Arctic Edge & Intense Sport) on sale for $2.34 each
Used four $1/1 MFC coupons from 5/17RP
Used four $1.50/1 Target coupons making these each a $.16 MONEYMAKER!

1 Soft Soap Dispenser and 3 Soft Soap double refill packs - $6 each
Buy 2 get a $5 Target gift card
Used four $2/1 Target coupons
Used four $2/1 IP coupon
After the gift cards and coupons each 2 of these are a $1 MONEYMAKER!

3 Soap Buddies - $.97 each
Used one $3/3 coupon making these BETTER THAN FREE!

(check out Hip2Save's Target posts for these links)

So now I can have kids with clean hands and bodies, a non-sweaty husband, some much needed chocolate and some Crystal Light when I start feeling bad about the calories from the chocolate ... all for FREE! :)

Albies ad had doublers in it again this week. We spent 1 hour at Albies this morning and did 5 trips in and out to use 5 sets of doublers. Check out AThriftyMom for some good doublers ideas and good deals.

I did 2 transactions with the Nestle promo items. In each of these 2 trans I got:

2 bags of Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chips - $2.50 each (This wasn't necessarily a killer deal but I am completely out of chocolate chips so I needed some)

Total $15
Used two $1/1 coupons for the cookie dough DOUBLED

Used one $.75/1 coupon for the chocolate chips
Total $8.25 each PLUS I got 2 FREE Redbox codes and 2 FREE 1.5 qt Dreyers Ice Cream

My other three transactions had about $20 worth of qualifying Kraft promo products in them. The promo gives you a 30% discount and then with the double coupons you can get some really good deals. Here are some of the things I was able to get:

2 Country Time drink mix canisters - $2.50 each (only $1.75 after $3 off promo)
Used $1.50/2 coupon
Final price $.70 after the promo discount
There is also a catalina buy 2 and get back a $1 catalina towards your next shopping trip which made these two only $.50 each.

3 California Pizza Kitchen Pizza Flat Bread Melts - $2.50 each (only $1.75 after $3 off promo)
Used three $1/1 coupons
Final price only $.75
I doubled these coupons so I actually got these for better then FREE!

Final Price: $.25 each!

7 Oscar Mayer Lunchables - $1 each ($.70 each after promo)

3 Six-packs of Coke .5 liter bottles - $3.34 each ($2.33 after $3 promo)

2 12-packAngel soft bath tissue $3.34 ($2.33 after $3 off promo)
Used two $.50/1 coupons, doubled one of them
Final Price $1.33 - $1.83 each
